HOW TO MAKE THE PERFECT BEEFDODO SAUCE FOR ANY MEAL


What makes a sauce special?, what makes you wanna eat it for what it is? For me it is the difference it makes. When a sauce stand out for several specific purposes, then that sauce is a very good sauce. In the like manner, this sauce has stood the test of time as one of me favourite. I just can't get enough of this sauce. I guess what, you can either eat it alone or with other accompaniment. Friends I give you beefdodo sauce.

PREPTIME: 20 mins COOKTIME: 30 mins SERVE: 5 people.

INGREDIENTS


2 ripe plantains (diced).
300 grams of raw beef (sliced into tiny bits).
5 fresh tomatoes
6 fresh peppers.
1 small bulb of onion.
4 small sized carrot (washed and skinned).
10 long green beans.
1 green bell pepper.
2 seasoning cubes.
1 teaspoon of salt.
Half teaspoons of curry
Half teaspoons of salt.
A cup of oil for frying.

BEFORE COOKING

1. Dice the onion, tomatoes and carrot. Chop the fresh pepper, green pepper and slice the green beans. Always remember to wash your fruits and vegetables before cutting as fruits and vegetables can contain sand, germs or even bacteria.
2. In a small bowl, pour in the sliced beefs, add little salt, half of a seasoning cube, a little spray of curry and thyme. Use a spoon to mix them together and let it stand.

COOKING

* Pour the oil inside a pan, dutch oven or skillet and when it's hot, pour in the diced plantain. Fry until golden brown and remove from oil.
* Pour in the marinated meat in the the hot oil and let it fry to well done. Not too dry and dehydrated though. Remove from oil and set aside in a plate.
* Reduce the oil in the pan to just about half a cup and pour the vegetables, starting with the diced onion, carrot, tomatoes, green beans, green and fresh pepper. Stir fry for 2 minutes then add one seasoning cubes, curry, thyme and the rest of the salt. Let it fry for another five minutes while stirring it.
* After this, add the fried beef, stir together and let it cook for 2 minutes. Add the fried plantain and stir. taste for salt and remove from heat.
* Your beef dodo sauce is ready. Serve with rice, pasta or yam.
